The winemaking experience of the Barbon family begins with Grandfather Antonio, born in 1898, a sharecropper for the Liberali family in Montebelluna. Lorenzo, his son, inherited the passion for the land, working the fields for the Liberali heirs, the Rossi family of Ferrara, until the late ’60s. When the sharecropping period ended, he was offered the opportunity to become the owner of the land. Aware of the sacrifices he would face and with the support of the family, especially his son Luca, the company continued its tradition.
